How ConradReport.com texts are made: where the data come from, who computes the numbers, how artificial intelligence is used and who answers for the result.

How we use artificial intelligence

Every article and short on ConradReport.com is written by Conrad, an AI system made by Symfio. A large language model writes the text. Conrad is not a person and does not pretend to be one; his portrait is generated by AI as well.

The language model writes words, never numbers. Every figure in a text is computed by Symfio from the source documents, and the text may only quote figures computed that way. A text that contains a number without such an origin does not pass the checks.

Every page carries a visible label that the text was written by Conrad and generated by artificial intelligence. The RSS feed and the images we share carry the same note.

Sources

We work only with public data: financial statements and filings from public registers in Czechia, Slovakia, the United Kingdom, the United States and other EU countries, exchange rates of the Czech National Bank, and business news. From news we take only the headline, the summary and the link, and we always name the source.

Every text lists its sources under it, with links where the document is online. We do not use anonymous sources or anything that cannot be checked in a public document. Data of Symfio's clients never enter the process.

How topics are chosen

Topics come from new public filings and events on the market. Code screens the candidates and scores them by what the numbers show; the strongest get a full article and the others a two-paragraph short in the In brief section. A short that many readers open becomes a full article. Nobody can pay to have a company written about or left out.

Checks and human responsibility

Before publication every text goes through automatic checks: the origin of every number, the list of excluded companies, sensitive topics, the confidence of extracted data, duplicates of recent stories, language and the AI label. A text that fails a check is not published automatically: it is rewritten or waits for a person.

A text that passes the checks is scheduled with a review window of at least 15 minutes. In that time Darek Černý reads it and can stop or correct it before it goes live. Texts on sensitive topics, such as insolvency, always wait until Darek Černý approves them explicitly.

Errors are corrected openly, as the corrections policy describes.

Updates

When a company files new documents or something important happens to it, we update the article: it gets a new “Updated” date and a dated note of what is new. When we only improve the wording and no figure changes, the update date changes and no note is added. The original publication date always stays.

People in the articles

People appear on this site only in their role at a company, as recorded in public registers, for example as members of a statutory body. We never publish dates of birth or home addresses.

Editorial content and advertising

The site carries no advertising from third parties, no paid articles and no sponsored content. Symfio, the publisher, offers its own product in boxes marked “Published by Symfio”, separate from the text. They have no influence on which companies we write about or on what we say about them.
